Evangelist Essie M. Jones, L.P.N, M.F.T, and
Presiding Evangelist at All People Church of God in Christ has been teaching throughout
the United States and abroad for 51 years. This great woman of God has earned the
respect of notable men, the trust of virtuous women, and the love of little
children. She is especially known for her ability to present complex topics
concerning marriage and family living in an understanding manner. She has
accomplished this by reflecting on her life experiences. Those who have heard her
speak commend her extensive knowledge, clarity of expressions, superior wisdom, and
abundance of practical information on the bible, marriage, and family, and her love of
God's people. She earnestly and humbly strives to serve God with all her heart.
Evangelist Jones adamantly believes that God wants all His children to be
saved. It is not His will that any be lost. For one day we shall fly up, like
beautiful doves, to meet our maker and all His children will wear a golden crown!
She has been a devoted wife for fifty nine years, and is the proud mother of five
biological children, thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and hundreds of
spiritual children and grandchildren.
Evangelist Jones' spiritual and biblical education has been obtained
through the Holy Ghost. God began to deal with her as a young mother. With an
unsaved husband, the Holy Ghost began to shape her into an amazing woman of God. She
has ministered to many through workshops, conferences, counseling sessions, radio,
television, videos, cassette tapes, books, and poetry. Her ministry presents the
word of God with love and a touch of humor by reflecting on seventy plus years of her
life's experiences.
